Events planned by the LCYLD

Law Day

To celebrate the nationally recognized Law Day on May 1, the LCYLD organizes a luncheon attended by members of the local bar, judiciary, and community.  The luncheon features a key note speaker (with CLE credit). Past speakers have included the Attorney General, State Public Defender, Justices of the Colorado Supreme Court and U.S. District Court Judges.

Call-A-Lawyer

Four times a year, the LCYLD gather to field calls from the public, offering free legal advice and referrals to community agencies. Pizza and refreshments are provided to all who participate in this event.

Brown Bag Seminars

The LCYLD also sponsors FREE CLE seminars. Seminars are held at noon in the Jury Room on the second floor of the Justice Center. Topics span the spectrum of the legal profession.

Social Events

The LCYLD hosts a variety of social events throughout the year to provide Young Lawyers with the opportunity to socialize and network.
