The LCBA Young Lawyers Division invites you to come and enjoy a morning social at Shufflebarger, Lamborne & Clark, LLC, at 2625 Redwing Road, Suite 200, in Fort Collins.
The Bench/Bar Happy Hour is held on the second Thursday of odd-numbered months. The happy hour is a chance for members of the local legal community to meet and socialize, with an aim to build camaraderie among its members. We encourage judges, attorneys, judicial staff, and paralegals/legal assistants from all practice areas (even retired) to attend. Feel free to invite significant others. Because the location changes each month, watch your email, The Messenger, or the Larimer Bar’s calendar for happy hour dates and locations. There is an informal group of Trust and Estate lawyers called the LCBA Trust & Estate Committee. The group meets and hears speakers five times a year, from September through May, usually on the fourth Wednesday of the month of September, January, March, and May and on the first Wednesday of December. The meetings are typically from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at First National Bank downtown. If you are interested you can email Pete Bullard at pete@estate-planning-help.com.

Larimer County celebrated its 5th Annual National Adoption Day event on November 18, 2016. The event is always held on the Friday before Thanksgiving. There are adoption proceedings all day in two courtrooms, and after each adoption proceeding, the child and his/her family & friends are invited to the heavily-decorated Party Room to celebrate their special day with music, gifts for the children, entertainment, & photographs.
