Office of the Child’s Representative (OCR) is now accepting applications statewide for contract attorneys to represent children and youth in Colorado legal proceedings.
The OCR is a state agency that oversees Guardian ad litem (best interests) attorney services in dependency and neglect, juvenile delinquency, truancy, paternity, and other proceedings, as well as Counsel for Youth (client-directed) attorney services for youth 12 and older in dependency and neglect and foster youth in transition proceedings. In all models of representation, our attorneys strive to empower youth, elevate youth voice in proceedings, and advocate for equity and justice to ensure an equitable process.
