“I thought of that while riding my bicycle” - Albert Einstein
Fall Term Bike Day once again invites any and all LCBA cyclists to enjoy an afternoon of two-wheeled adventure. The route takes us westward from the Courthouse through Bellvue and environs.
We stop at the Swing Station in Laporte on our way back for a cold beverage and camaraderie. You’ll return to the Courthouse in plenty of time to enjoy the rest of your day.
The route is on paved bike trail/back roads, with no significant hills, and suits most abilities. For a bit more challenge you’ll have the option to take-on Bingham Hill on the outbound leg of our trip, or stay on the Poudre bike path instead.
Both groups meet up at Bellvue and then loop around Morning Fresh dairy and head toward friendly Laporte. The return from Laporte is a short, quick jaunt back to the Courthouse. The ride is 16 miles round trip.
We will gather outside the Justice Center and plan to leave at 1:30 p.m.
Please let me know if you’re intending to join the ride. And remember your helmet and water bottle!
