This is a free public event for those interested in learning about legal topics that interest older adults the most. Topics covered in the presentations include: estate planning and the important documents to have in a plan, consumer issues that older adults face today including debt collection, managing long-term care costs under Medicaid, and grandparent’s rights. Adults of all ages are welcome to attend. Bring an older adult with you who could benefit from this information!
We will have a special guest speaker from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation educating participants on common scams that target older adults and about how to recognize and avoid them.
